Randall Julin General Manager
As co-founder of Absolute Aviation Services, Randall is the General Manager and has been providing leadership for Absolute since its inception in 2004. Having devoted nearly 40 years to the aerospace industry, Randall has acquired extensive experience in many facets of professional aviation, including engineering, maintenance, inspection, operations, planning and sales & marketing. Randall has a B.S. degree in Aeronautics from San Jose State University, an Airframe & Powerplant mechanics license, and a private pilot's license. Aerospace experience includes serving as a Flight Test Engineer for General Dynamics, Director of Production Control for Eastern Airlines, Director of Operations for AAR Corp., Director of Purchasing for Westair Airlines, and VP of Sales & Marketing for another FAA Repair Station. His 20 years of military experience includes 4 years in US Naval Aviation maintenance, followed by 16 years in the US Coast Guard Reserve serving as Reserve Engineering Officer for Air Station Sacramento's C130 fleet, Reserve Officer in Charge (OIC) for a High Endurance Cutter in Alameda, CA, and Reserve Operations Officer for Group Milwaukee's nine Search and Rescue Stations. Randall retired as a Lieutenant Commander in 1999.
Randall is also very involved in promoting Aerospace business and education at
the local, regional, and state level, serving on the board for Spokane Community
Colleges A&P School, the Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium (INWAC), the
Armed Forces Aerospace Museum, and is currently serving on the Washington State
Governor’s Council on Aerospace.
